I have been a part of the CrossFit world for a little over four years. From day one, I fell in love with the sport of CrossFit, and as I spent more time getting to know the ins and out of the sport, my passion has grown even deeper.
I am originally from Michigan, where I attended Albion College. During my time there, I played basketball, ran track, and cross country. Post college, I spent most of my time staying in shape by running, and running some more. CrossFit has given me the opportunity to not only stay in shape, but also feed my competitive nature with attending weekend competitions and constantly trying to improve myself in various physical components that are involved with
As much as I love the competitive aspect of CrossFit, it is the community that drives my love for the sport even more. Observing individuals working hard, reaching goals, and progressing as athletes is one of the most rewarding aspects of CrossFit. I am a firm believer of having a true balance of physical, mental, and social health; it is no question that CrossFit has provided me with the tools to help maintain those three as a balance in my everyday
