The lifts? Snatch and Clean and Jerk
When? Friday nights at 5:30 and Saturday mornings at 9:00.

Olympic Lifting Class…This.... Class.... Rocks! Do I like it? No. I love it. I joined IRCF about four months ago and was a little intimidated by this “Oly Class,” because I thought it was for experienced lifters. Oh boy was I wrong! From beginners like me to veteran CrossFitters, there is something for everyone. We can all benefit from working on our foundational movements. The atmosphere was perfect and I felt comfortable in class, thanks to Coach Deena and the WHOLE crew. Now, I’m on my way to perfecting my form and being able to add weight and intensity. My best advice is that I wish I had tried OLY two years ago when I started CrossFit. It was 100% intimidating, but you can work with a PVC pipe on some moves until you become comfortable. Thinking back, had I taken OLY classes when I started, I would have gained a stronger foundation. I have only taken a few classes, but I feel more comfortable, stronger, and confident with barbell movements!
