Mindful Eating Challenge
Our Eat Slow challenge is live. This is SO essential to creating good eating habits, and it's by far, one of the most challenging. We won't be creating a board for this one, though we highly recommend that you practice this at least once a day and work up from there. Be VERY mindful of your eating. It may be the one time of day that you slow down and take some time for yourself. Coach Kerri will be posting tips and articles about strategies and the benefits of this practice. Feel free to use the FB page to voice your successes or struggles and pose your questions. Remember, we are all in this together!
For our challenge this month we are going to start to incorporate the idea of HOW we eat, and why that matters, with eating slowly.
How long does it take you to eat a meal or a snack? Do you know? Eating slowly is a pillar of healthy eating habits for numerous reasons that we will go over during the month of February!
Eating slowly affects us both mentally and physically! It affects our hormones, satiety levels, portion sizes, meal experience, and more.
